Our laboratories have grown and improved adopting new technical standards in order to support the growth of the company. We have two laboratories: the first dedicated to chemical analysis and the second the physical tests.

Our strengths are:

1) Use of modern instrumentations and performing of a wide variety of analytical methods;

2) “severe” quality control procedures permit the production of a product of high quality standard;

3) Skilled personnel can interface with the customers for helping them from a technical point of view.

R&D is the right way to open your eyes and mind on the world, in order to fit the new and always increasing requirements. For that reason we work very closely with our Customers for the develop of new products or solutions.

Our methods are developed:

  • – to test raw materials coming from our suppliers;
  • – to test the quality and the performances of the products;
  • – for de-formulation of known or unknown recipes in order to solve problems, match some physical properties or simply to study the competitors recipes;
  • – for developing of new formulas in order to match the customer requests.


Our methods are based on:

instrumental chemical methods as:

  • FTIR;
  • HPLC;
  • FAAS;
  • UV-visible spectrometers;
  • HPTLC-scanner;
  • XRF;
  • SEM.

– classical chemical methods as:

  • complexometric and acid/basic titrations;
  • gravimetric analysis.

– physics methods to test:

  • the rheological behavior with plasticorders and extruders;
  • static recipe’s thermal stability according to EN 60811-405 and the dynamic thermal stability in oven and in plasticorder;
  • the weathering with QUV and Xenostest (ISO 4892  / ASTM D 4329);
  • the flame retardancy  with LOI measurements (ASTM D 2863 ), Cone Calorimeter and UL94 standard;
  • the smoke density with smokes density meters (ASTM D 2843 ) and tubular ovens for measuring the smoke acidity (EN 60754 part I e II);
  • the mechanical properties as such as tensile strength and elongation at break (ISO R 527)
  • the hardness of the materials (ISO 868);
  • the density of materials (ISO1188);
  • the water up taking (EN 60811-402);
  • the thermal stability (EN 60811-405).
